11 Mar 2010 You Are A Champion

Champions are born, losers are madeIf you have been reading the articles on this blog, I am sure you have heard me mention John Di Lemme’s short yet powerful:

“Champions Are Born Losers Are Made”.

Today I picked up this booklet again to read on the bus trip to work.

The key thoughts in this book are:

You started life by winning against all odds.
How so? Here is something to think about. As you know, life begins as a sperm. Millions of sperms are launched, but only one gets to fertilize the egg and begin the creation of a human being.

Guess what? You are one in a million! You won that race.

The WinnerNow the question is, are you still winning races? Or have you forgotten how?

You were born into a war zone:
Yes, you were born a champion. Now you need those championship skills and you need to sharpen them because you were born into a war zone.

I am sure you have noticed that there are two forces operating in this world: positive and negative.

  • The positive force is creative.
  • The negative force is destructive.

Note: A soldier who goes to war, goes because he or she chooses to win. They expect to win.

All that we are watching happen in this world shows us that the negative force is trying hard to become the strongest. Why?

Because many folk hung up their championship medal and have decided that it is easier to go with the flow. But you are a champion! This means you are also a warrior (a soldier) and you have chosen to win in this life.

What is the “natural flow” of this world? Negative. Yes the enemy (for a time only) is the prince of this world (you can find that in the Bible in John 14:30)

Oral Roberts used to say: You can’t go under for going over!

I like that, don’t you?

Keep your focus on winning the race of life and you too will be able to say “I can’t go under for going over”.

You have not hung up your championship medal. You are a champion! You are a winner! You choose to win right?

Make this your affirmation today: I am a champion! I am a winner!

JillNever give up and you too will be able to say “I can’t go under for going over”.
