04 May 2010 Make Up Your Mind
 |  Topic: Action Takers, Habits  | Tags: , , , ,  | One Comment

QuestionThe biggest reason that you may not achieve your dreams and goals is that you have not made up your mind to succeed.

Objection! You may be saying. I have my goals and dreams written out. I even have a vision board with pictures of my dreams. So how can you day that I have not made up my mind.

Well actually you are in a better place than I am to answer that question, since you know:

  • What you spend your day thinking.
  • What you spend your day saying.
  • What you spend your day doing.

Your daily words PLUS your actions led you to success (or failure).

Write down the three questions below in your journal.
Now answer them honestly today (and every day).

  1. What percentage of the words that I listened to, thought and said helped to strengthen my mindset towards success?
  2. What action step(s) did I take today that took me closer to achieving my goals?
  3. What action step do I have planned for tomorrow?

Once you have completed this mini assignment, you will have the answer to the question of the day.

Did you do something today that proves you have REALLY made up your mind to succeed with your life’s goals and dreams?

31 Jan 2010 Hello world!

Hello -

This blog was installed just today (as you can see). No it is not a New Year’s resolution (it is already end the of January 2010), and yes I left the default title since I am saying “Hello World” from here.

The aim of this blog is to let you in on some of the key thoughts that I jot down in my learning journal every day. These thoughts come from the Bible, from motivational cds or videos, from books – from life itself.

Life is an adventure of learning.

The posts will be short – I have other blogs where I discuss subjects in much more detail. You can find those under “My Other Blogs” here on the side.

I would love to see you here often. This is written for busy people, another reason for short posts (and an exercise for me – most of my posts end up being rather long).

Jill Take care – and make this year your best year yet!
