Don’t ever give up! This is the biggest key to success. It sounds so simple I know, yet you and I both know that when the heat is on it really is not always that simple to resist giving up.

I know that when you are really committed to your dreams and goals you will not give up. Over the years on the mission field, of course there were times when I wanted to give up. But I COULDN’T. Why? Because I KNEW that I was where I was supposed to be. I was in the center of my purpose in life, of my WHY.

When you find your WHY and start to pursue it, you cannot give up.

When I first arrived in Mexico, I was told that anyone who lasted 5 years on the mission field, by default became a “veteran”. Now I know that 5 years is not that long, but the track record of so many who went down to Mexico was a few months or at best 1-2 years.

I was determined that I would go beyond 5 years!

I was there for 25 years, so I think I can really say I succeeded :) There were certainly a lot of good things that happened during those years. And the fruits are still showing up :)

What was the key to my success?

I would not – I could not give up.
Stay faithful to your dream and you WILL succeed!

Just last night I was talking with my friend who is like a son to me. He is a pastor in Mexico, and has in the last week been experiencing some major breakthroughs in his life and ministry.

Because he, his wife and their team have been faithful over the past years to continue on no matter what difficulties they encountered, now they are reaping. Yes, they are beginning to reap huge success!

In fact there is so much happening for them right now and so fast they are on “cloud nine”. As John commented: “It’s like the lid came off”.

  • Do you need the lid to come off of a situation?
  • Do you need a breakthrough in your life?

Success is yours as long as you don’t give up.
JillStay focused, stay determined, stay on the path that leads to your dream.
The lid will come off for you too.
